The Search for Arla Dofino

After receiving my BzzKit I went to grocery to try to find Arla Dofino.  The first two Kroger locations I tried didn't carry any flavor of Arla Dofino.  I tried another Kroger and it only had Chilli Lime, not a flavor I care try.  I also tried a few Wal-Marts, Target, and a Meijer and no Arla Dofino there either.  I decide to try the Kroger and Wal-Mart in a different part of town, again the Kroger had only Chilli Lime, and finally at Wal-Mart I was able to find some different flavors Dill Havarti and Creamy Havarti, but not Gouda that the Mac & Cheese recipe called for.  I was shopping with a friend and she noticed the best buy dates were several months past the current month.  After searching through I was able to find on package that was not past the best buy date, so I went ahead and used my coupon to get my free Arla Dofino.
I went home happy to have finally found Arla Dofino, but a bit disappointed I wouldn't be able to make the Mac & Cheese recipe.  I did try the Creamy Havarti on crackers and was pleased with the taste, I normally am not a fan of many fancy chesses, but I really enjoyed this one.  I also tried it mixed in with scrambled eggs, and it gives them a nice extra hint of flavor.
I really hope Arla Dofino becomes easier to find in my area and that the stores start carrying more varieties.  I would also reccomend checking the best buy dates before purchasing.  I was rather shocked by how far out of date the Arla Dofino at Wal-Mart was.

Skechers Cali Memory Foam Wedge Sandal

  I haven't owned a pair of good wedge sandals in years.  I am super picky about wedge sandals and most the new styles I don't care for either because of aesthetics, or comfort reasons.  Many of the current wedge offerings with thse type straps extend back towards the heel which I hate the look of, and others are just to hard of a footbed, or the shoe is very heavy. The Skechers Cali Memory Foam wedges have a very soft footbed (made of you guessed it.. Memory Foam), they are super cushy while still being supportive.  I have high arches and finding shoes can be a challenge for me, although I have great luck with most Skechers especially those with the memory foam, because it can conform to my foot.  These wedges do have a visible arch support on the footbed.  They are a fairly low heel at about 2 inches, I normally would prefer higher, but heel height is one area I'm more willing to compromise. Banquette Seating from Ikea Kallax

I wanted a corner banquette in my eat in kitchen,but couldn't find anything I really liked. I decided to look into making one myself, after doing some research I chose to use the Ikea Kallax Shelving/Cubbie. The dimensions work really well for the space I have in my kitchen too. I chose to buiild my base first, so I could get accurate measurements to purchase your materials. Here are the materials you will need to make your cushion. Plywood- cut to size of your bench (Home Depot and Lowes can cut to size for free) I used 1/2 inch Foam- I used 2 inch (buy at any craft store, check for sales and coupons, foam isn't cheap) Quiters Batting- this is nice because it will hold together the foam and wood, and cover the bottom of the wood so you don't scratch your bench. I've recently started taking couponing fairly seriously. While on a quest to learn more about couponing, I discovered that there are some very useful apps out there that you can earn money from.
